Neurodivergent-led. Visitor-focused.
Helping People
Visit With Confidence.
Nysa assesses venues and creates connected visitor guides, sensory maps and 360° tours, helping people understand what to expect, plan ahead and visit with greater confidence.
- UK-wide support
- Tailored to each venue
Why it matters
A more confident visit
starts before arrival.
Visiting somewhere unfamiliar can feel uncertain when clear information is difficult to find. Knowing about the sensory environment, layout, facilities and available support in advance helps people understand what to expect, plan in a way that works for them and feel more prepared before they arrive.
Know what to expect
Clear, honest information helps visitors understand the venue and the sensory conditions they may experience.
Plan in a way that works for them
Visitors can identify useful facilities, quieter areas and available support ahead of time.
Feel more prepared
Help visitors become familiar with the venue before they arrive, reducing uncertainty and supporting a more confident visit.
Nysa Sensory 360
One connected service for the complete visitor journey.
Nysa assesses the complete visitor journey and sensory environment, then turns the findings into practical recommendations and connected visitor resources that help people prepare before they arrive.

The methodology
The Nysa Sensory 360 Framework.
Seven connected pillars underpin every Nysa assessment. The Framework combines neurodivergent lived experience, structured observation, environmental measurements and visitor journey mapping to help us understand each venue consistently, while recognising that everyone may experience an environment differently.
Explore the frameworkConsiders overall noise levels, echoes, sudden or unpredictable sounds, competing sound sources and whether visitors can move somewhere quieter.
Looks at brightness, glare and reflections, flashing or flickering lights and sudden changes between darker and brighter environments.
Considers visitor numbers, personal space, queues, waiting, social interaction and how demand may change during quieter and busier periods.
Looks at the strength and predictability of smells, ventilation, airflow and other environmental conditions that may affect comfort.
Considers temperature, humidity, weather exposure and access to comfort measures such as seating, shelter, shade, water, heating and cooling.
Considers access to quiet spaces, seating, rest areas, alternative routes and support that may help visitors pause, regulate and continue their visit.
